Description
A fluted plum blossom libation cup made in the 19th century in Dehua, Fujian province, China. Exported to France. By applying sterling silver mounts, transformed into a flower/potpourri holder for a private collection by the Paris firm Orfevre G. Keller, official supplier to the courts of Spain, Russia, Greece and Romania. Purchased by Dorothy Wallace in the 1980s for her Chicago collection and exhibited at Chicago’s Heritage Museum. A Los Angeles dealer acquired her collection in 2020.
