Vintage Mottahedeh porcelain jar hand-painted with exotic foliage and bird of paradise displaying its plumage with outstretched wings. The lid is rimmed with a gilt decorated border and knob. Marked "Emperor Of Germany’s Bird of Paradise, Lesser Bird of Paradise, Made In Portugal, Coimbra, S.P., Portugal, A Mottahedeh Design" on the underside.
