Spanish brass souvenir ashtray featuring an image of the Columbus monument, built for the 1888 Exposición Universal de Barcelona, framed by the arches of the nearby Spanish Army Headquarters. A bas relief border and rope edging surround the center medallion and four ball feet raise the piece from the tabletop. No maker’s marks.Very good vintage condition with minimal wear; genuine patina.
