Description

A rare set of four 19th-C. heavy English brass candlesticks. The larger set marked "The King of Diamonds" and medium set marked "The Queen of Diamonds", souvenirs of Queen Victoria’s 1897 Diamond Jubilee. The country was celebrating the queen’s 60 years on the throne. The candlesticks were made in three sizes: Ace, 14"H. tall; King, 12 1/2"H.; and Queen, 11 1/2"H.
