Description

Splendid early 1800s Spode English Staffordshire serving bowl with classic rich blue and terra cotta floral decorations. Early 1800s professional repair done in the way fine china was repaired in that century, with metal staples. The repair adds so much interest to this two hundred year old piece of fine Spode Staffordshire ironstone. Marked "Spode Stone China" with a mark used by Spode from 1805 to 1830.
