Set of two entirely hand-painted French pitchers in Gien’s beautiful 200-year-old Renaissance Fond Bleu pattern. A muscular man sits guard in these petite pieces, adorned with ropework-design borders and handles. Larger pitcher marked "Gien France" with the company castle mark used from 1960 through 1971; dimensions are 3.25"L x 2.5"W x 3.25"H. Smaller pitcher marked "Gien France" with the company castle mark used from 1938 through 1960; dimensions are 3.25"L x2"W x2.5"H.
