Superb mid-century modern California pottery bowl by the master ceramicist Sascha Brastoff. Abstract modern gilded leaves and vertical stripes, three feet, and marvelous mid-century elliptical form. Very rare hand-painted MCM gold stars decorate the interior. Signed "Sascha B" and marked "Sascha Brastoff California "U.S.A." A fabulous find.
