Description

Antique French portable three-panel vanity mirror with steel hinges and clasp. This item folds as a portable mirror and clasps shut. Center panel is hand-painted with lovers in a garden scene on heavy paperboard. Each flanking panel has hand-painted birds and floral bouquet design. On the inside, one panel has mirror and the others have some handwritten notes. No maker’s mark. Open panels, 16.5"L x .5"D x 8.75"H. Each panel, 5"L x .5"D x 7.25"H. Warping to panels, some paint loss and patina.
