Wonderful hand-painted French faience vase in Gien’s remarkable 200 year old Renaissance Fond Bleu pattern features a central cherub cartouche, mythical creatures wrestling with ribbons, shooting scrollwork adorned with fruit, and bold chain link borders. Two-handled trophy form. Hand written "Gien France" with hand drawn company castle mark used from 1941 through 1950.
