A pair of antique English Staffordshire miniature dogs / spaniels. Staffordshire dogs were modeled after Queen Victoria’s beloved King Charles Spaniel, Dash and they were wildly popular during her reign. They remain popular today and are highly collected. This pair were museum pieces and the museum inventory stickers on back (easily removed if desired).As with most early Staffordshire, there is no maker’s mark.
